BETASEAL™ 16070N Urethane Adhesive
  • BETASEAL™ 16070N Urethane Adhesive

BETASEAL™ Glass Bonding Systems are used worldwide for the structural bonding and sealing of stationary glass and help vehicles meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) for barrier, rollover and roof crush regulations.

BETASEAL™ 16070N Urethane Adhesive is a primerless-to-paint, one-component, fast-curing, high-viscosity adhesive. This specially formulated adhesive can be used in conjunction with BETASEAL 16100 Glass Primer, as part of the BETASEAL Uni-wipe system.

The BETASEAL Uni-wipe system allows for a single clear wipe around the glass-with quick flash time- before application of the adhesive. The system combines the benefits of an easier glass-priming process with the primerless-to-paint performance.

Product Benefits:

  • Designed to bond to a wide range of commercially available clearcoat technologies without the use of body flange primer
  • Is UV resistant, eliminating the need for glass blackout primer on typical ceramic enamel coatings
  • Primerless-to-paint installation reduces VOCs, simplifies the glass bonding process, decreases cycle time and reduces production costs
  • Resistant to extended outdoor weathering without losing its adhesive and physical characteristics
  • High performance to the toughest OEM durability specifications
  • Excellent performance on glass and ceramic substrates
