Developed for painted exterior applications such as bumper fascia, SPECTRIM 35-S reaction moldable polymer is a two-component polyurethane system that incorporates Dow's advanced internal mold release (IMR) technology. This technology provides multiple part release from metal molds after initial application of a soap mold release.

Application:
SPECTRIM 35-S reaction moldable products were developed for the production of automotive fascia, but can also be used for other applications requiring a nominal flexural modulus of 35,000 psi.

Application methods:
SPECTRIM 35-S reaction moldable polymer is easily processed in standard RIM equipment and provides short in-mold cure times, fewer part rejects due to tears and excellent Class A surfaces easily prepared for painting.
